Ed Simcox is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at HHS. He has spent over 18 years working at the intersection of healthcare and technology to create a better healthcare system with the goals of reducing cost and increasing quality and patient satisfaction. Much of his focus has been on health IT and innovative technologies dealing with challenges like EHR usability, interoperability and using innovation to improve healthcare operations.
